Popset saw that with web 3.0 technology it was possible to compensate social media creators directly without the need for third party advertising partnerships.

They contracted us to bring their vision to life: a secure, on-chain app where artists, photographers, and creators alike can mint, share, and collect non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

Minting made easy.

For the average user, managing a cryptocurrency wallet would be an obstacle to using this kind of app. To make things simple, we built the Popset app to handle wallet creation, management, and minting on the backend, so users don’t need to think about any of these details.

Getting paid for art, education, and entertainment–not third party products.

Creators wanting to monetize their content can use Popset’s paid post feature. Their audience can then buy posts directly through in-app purchases. Payments are settled in fiat (regular) currency, and NFTs are automatically airdropped to the collector’s wallet.

More ways to connect.

Collecting a limited–edition NFT gives users a way to show a creator a deeper level of support–one that says, “I value what you do.”

Insights into how users engage.

The analytics view shows total users, average session durations, and items collected. The “popular posts” section gives admins a glimpse into what content is trending.
